Code 3 Training offers Fire Extinguisher Training in Vancouver, Washington. We offer companies engaging on-site training by experienced fire professionals at a time convenient for your employees. Washington Labor and Industries requires all new employees to receive fire extinguisher training in the use of fire extinguishers for incipient (small) fires. Additionally, employees are required to train on the use of extinguishers annually thereafter. We offer classroom and real experience-based practical training using extinguishers exactly like those in your workplace.
Remember that when using an extinguisher, you will need to insure that it is designed to extinguish the materials on fire and be capable of putting out the fire with the size extinguisher you have available. You want to use the acronoym P-A-S-S, which means to pull the pin, aim at the base, squeeze the handle and sweep side to side. For further information or to schedule your next company class, call us for a fire extinguisher training quote at 360.281.6428. We look forward to serving you.
